About CrossplayDB
CrossplayDB is a free, community-maintained database of crossplay games. It shows at a glance which platforms can actually play together across PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. Plus whether a game has cross-progression and whether it is free to play.
What CrossplayDB tracks
For every game, we record the details that decide whether you and your friends can actually squad up:
- Crossplay pools: which platforms share a lobby, and which are walled off in their own group.
- Cross-progression: whether your saves, unlocks and purchases carry between platforms.
- Free to play status, party size, genres, release year, and a store link for each platform.
Why we built it
Every other crossplay list we could find was abandoned: out of date, missing recent releases, or padded with single player or non-crossplay games that miss the entire point. CrossplayDB is meant to do one thing: Help you find the games that you and your friends can actually play together. When a new game launches it is added quickly thanks to our community.
How it stays current
Anyone can submit a game or correct a detail straight from the site. Every submission is reviewed by a maintainer before it goes live, and contributors coordinate in our Discord. That review loop is why the data stays trustworthy instead of drifting stale.
